Tour de France in Brussels: Racing through the city

Brussels was all about cycling in last months – from the preparations to the Grand Depart, Tour de France has totally took over the city. This global event has once again put the spotlight on Brussels, bringing thousands of fans from all over Belgium and neighboring countries to come and be part of this big cycling fiesta. It was expected that Brussels will get up to 1 million people to observe Tour de France during the few days that different activities took part in and around the city.

Although some people complained about the mobility issues (car traffic was disrupted for a large part during the last few days) it is clear that majority of Brusseleirs and tourists actually enjoyed being part of this special and unique event. We share with you some beautiful photos that were shared with our #welovebrussels community. Enjoy!
