Two weeks ago, communes of Etterbeek and Woluwe-Saint-Pierre celebrated the 122nd « Fête Avenue de Tervueren ».
The whole avenue became a car-free zone for the event, and it was refreshing to see people taking back the streets and enjoying the sun rays shining over the area.
It was a nice festive atmosphere, always full of activities and kiosks featuring all sorts of goods, from food to wooden bird houses, to bee-hive and natural honey, to sports activities.
Families roamed the Avenue, and kids let their imagination and bodies go loose enjoying the festival attractions. The festival lasted till sunset and you could feel the cool vibes through the smiles and laughs of the thousands who attended the event this year.
Summer vibes are hitting Brussels hard, let’s hope the weather will become warmer soon, so that the season of outdoor activities can finally kick off.
