Mark your agenda: Salon du Chocolat, 2-4 March 2018.

From 2nd-4th March 2018, Salon du Chocolat promises a delicious and festive programme in Brussels! Chocolatiers, chefs, pastry chefs and young talents await you at Tour & Taxis for a celebration of Belgian chocolate in all its forms. 

More than 130 participants will be gathering together on 8,000 sqm entirely dedicated to chocolate and cocoa. The theme of this new edition, “Chocolate & Cocoa: The Great Adventure” will celebrate the creativity and passion of an entire profession. This 2018 show is going to take you on a journey!

What to expect? Something for everyone!

Chef demos. The greatest Belgian chefs, pastry chefs, master chocolatiers and young talents follow one another in the Pastry Show demonstration area to present their best chocolate recipes. Take a seat and learn tips, techniques and how to create your own chocolate delights from the masters!

The Chocolate Fashion Show. Do not miss the famous Chocolate Fashion Show with couture outfits made out of chocolate by Belgian and international fashion designers and chocolatiers. Daily fashion show at 5pm. The duos of chocolatiers & fashion designers…

Beer & Chocolate. When hops meets cocoa … This year’s show will highlight beer and chocolate pairings, two iconic products of the Belgian culinary culture.

Conferences & tastings.To understand chocolate is to love it. This is and will remain the philosophy of the Salon du Chocolat. Come and discover all the secrets and subtleties of chocolate through a series of talks and tastings run by experts and chocolate lovers.

Chocolate and pastry trends. The “Young Talents” area sponsored by the City of Brussels will be putting the spotlight on some promising young artisans working in the Brussels region. They will be present on this stand: Chouconut, Kako and Mi Joya Chocolate Maker. PATISSERIE TRENDS…

Chocolate bookstore…

Exhibitions & specials. This year’s show will highlight beer and chocolate pairings, two iconic products of the Belgian culinary culture. On a dedicated space and during three days, the famous Flemish brand Duvel will offer tastings in association with Jitsk Chocolates and in the presence of beer sommelier Brecht Terryn. Recipes and round tables on beer and chocolate pairings will also be held throughout the event by sector specialists and craft brewers.
