Call for Brussels Street Photography Festival 2017

You love photography and especially street photography? You also love Brussels? Then get ready for the newest edition of Brussels Street Photography Festival! The program of the BSPF looks to explore street photography around different cultural events such as exhibitions, projections, talks, discussion panels, photo walks, portfolio critiques, workshops and parties.

The main exhibition of the BSPF will show the work of the selected finalists from the contests‘ entries. All main exhibitions and activities during the festival are in Brussels, open to the public and free to visit. Only the workshops require a fee and RSVP.

The goal of the festival is to strengthen the Street Photography community by promoting it as a form of visual art, exposing it to a larger audience and engaging new enthusiasts.

You want to participate and submit your work?

Submission deadline for the photo contest is the 1st of August! We encourage Brussels and Belgian photographers to take part and participate in one of the contests. The contests are open to all levels! Be sure to submit your work for a chance to get exposure at an international level and be exhibited on different venues in Belgium after and beyond the festival. You could also win some of the cash prizes (over 4,500 EUR for the winners of the contests) and a chance to make history by entering the official Brussels Photography Archive.

  1. There are 4 contests: International Singles, International Series, Brussels Singles and Brussels Series. You will find the 4 contests and their details below.
  2. Go to the section of the contest you want to participate in and hit the Submit button, this will lead you to the submission process of that specific contest.
  3. Always check the title of the contest submission page to see if it is the same contest you applied to.
  4. Follow the submission steps and that’s it!
