Urban Life

Daily life: The most discussed locations in Brussels

When we walk, take a tram, a metro or simply drive to a certain location in the city, we use specific ‘popular’ places, central districts, shopping malls, stations and other urban ‘landmarks’ to navigate and orientate ourselves. Also, these places serve many other purposes – they are very convenient when you need to make an appointment with a friend or a business partner – “Let’s meet at Flagey” or “Meet me in front of the Bourse”. We decided to build a simple list of places in Brussels that we think are the most ‘used’ in our daily routines, either as ‘destinations’ of our public transport routes, or as ‘terms’ and urban toponyms that you can hear in Brussels streets (if you are listening people’s conversations) 🙂  The list will be built up, so feel free to contact us if you have any suggestions!
