The redevelopment of Franklin Roosevelt Avenue raised a lot of questions and comments. Brussels Mobility has plans to redesign the avenue with a separate space for bike lanes. Some politicians and local residents denounce the cycle path as well as the width of the road dedicated to vehicles.
Faced with this reaction, the association of cyclists, the GRACQ, organized a protest action ‘Ring for Franklin’ on Wednesday evening. They support a designated path for the cyclists on this avenue.
