New trend: Evening markets in Brussels

Evening markets are popping up across Brussels! Brussel Deze Week reported that number of evening markets is increasing and most of them are quite new in the city. As the map below shows, the markets are equally spread across many municipalities, but some neighbourhoods still didn’t experience this trend.

In some cases (for instance Marché des Chasseurs Ardennais in Schaerbeek and Marché de la Place Van Meenen in Saint-Gilles), markets existed for quite some time but decided to extend their hours in order to attract new customers. New evening markets are expected to launch also in Ixelles/Elsene, Etterbeek and Brussels municipality.
