N°3 of ‘14’ – the new edition of the Port of Brussels magazine is here!

After successfully publishing two interesting editions of the magazine ‘14’, the Port of Brussels has kicked off the year with another loaded edition that will take us on an inspiring journey along the canal.

Why ‘14’?
Just reminding our readers that the magazine is called ‘14’ since the canal in Brussels runs along 14 km across different neighbourhoods. The Port of Brussels started this initiative in 2023 to bring together people and communities along the canal via news, family events and inspirations.

What’s new?
In 2024, the Port of Brussels takes us along the canal to discover the neighbourhoods through countless activities. The view of this vibrant area is changing every year, thanks to the residents and many diverse initiatives. This channel of water is a fantastic resource that provides lots of opportunities to the residents on its banks not only to build housing, spark creativity and strengthen the economy but also to protect the environment via clever usage of the waterfront.

There is something for everyone in this issue – you could learn about new companies that are the champions of the circular economy, discover amazing street art along the canal and have a great time with family and friends.

Did you know?
Both the Bright Brussels light festival in February and the Brussels Book Fair in April will be occurring along the banks of the canal this year. We would strongly recommend that you attend these festivals unique to the city.

Magazine ‘14’ has its own website – 14.port.brussels. You can visit to read it online (or download the e-copy) or subscribe here to the paper edition and receive it at home.
